Building QI Capability in Primary Health Networks & The Primary Health Care Workforce
Peak Practice: Elevating Healthcare Improvement
ItBased on the NINCo workplan of 2022-2023 a quality improvement training program has been designed in collaboration with Prestantia Health and the Institute of Healthcare Improvement. The working group decided on the name Peak Practice: Elevating Healthcare Improvement for the two initiatives developed by Prestantia Health and IHI. The key objective of the Quality Improvement training program is to support the development of a national approach to general practice quality improvement. The initiative aims to redefine perceptions of QI and emphasise its innovative value by smoothly incorporating it into the core business, improving general practice productivity and care quality. NINCo has commissioned Prestantia Health to lead the delivery of the QI capability-building program entitled Peak Practice: Elevating Healthcare Improvement. In doing so, Prestantia Health has partnered with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) to combine international expertise in improvement science with national and international faculty, expertise, experience, and credibility of both parties to work with NINCO in PHC transformation.
