The NINCo Governance serves as the guiding force, bringing strategic direction to the collaborative efforts. Comprising of experts in healthcare, quality improvement, and organisational leadership, the committee oversees the implementation of NINCo initiatives.

Their collective wisdom will ensure alignment with national healthcare goals, fostering innovation and steering the collaborative toward sustainable improvements in primary care across Australia.

  • PHN CEOs Primary Advisory Group​. The purpose of the PHN CEO Cooperative National Improvement Network (NIN) Working Group is to oversee and strategically guide a Nationally consistent approach that supports General Practice and support high performing Primary Health Care.
  • The NINCo Steering Committee serves as the guiding force, bringing strategic direction to the collaborative efforts. Comprising of experts in healthcare, quality improvement, and organizational leadership, the committee oversees the implementation of NINCo initiatives.
  • NINCo streams / areas of focus and external stakeholders​.
  • Capability Enhancement Program with Prestantia Health and Institute of Healthcare Improvement.

There are three workstreams corresponding to the objectives or focus areas of the initiative. They are responsible for planning. coordinating, and executing activities related to their respective objectives. This division allows for specialisation and a targeted approach to achieving NINCo’s goals.

  • Promote uniformity in quality improvement practices to reduce variability in care processes, thereby improving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilize data-driven decision-making to streamline workflows and enhance outcome monitoring using population health data.
  • Enhance patient-centred care.
Capacity Building
  • Enhance skill development on CQI methodologies and best practices.
  • Nurture a culture of continuous improvement and integrating services while supporting primary healthcare providers.
  • Strengthen community of practice to share innovative care models within the network.
  • Develop leadership capabilities to spearhead quality improvement initiatives and instigate transformative change.
Strengthening MyMedicare
  • Comprehensive assessment and adoption of MyMedicare integration within the primary care providers.
  • Identification of gaps and policy advocacy.
  • Enhance provider education and patient engagement.
  • Advocacy for value-based care.
