Cultivating Quality Care: Unveiling the Strengthening Medicare
Voluntary Patient Registration Toolkit and Clinical Audit for Primary Sense
As part of the ongoing quality improvement initiative of NINCo – Stream 3 MyMedicare QI, the toolkit and clinical audit for MyMedicare – Voluntary patient registration is now available for reference and use by PHNs with access to Primary Sense.
The working group of Stream 3 – MyMedicare QI and Gold Coast PHN staff have completed the development of the toolkit and clinical audit to support GPs and general practice staff to identify patients with chronic or complex health needs who would benefit most from early participation in MyMedicare.
The clinical audit content was approved for Reviewing Performance 4 hours and Measuring Outcomes 6 hours through RACGP Queensland for piloting by a GP with access to Primary Sense. The content is now shared for adaption by your PHN CPD representatives for CPD activity approval.
The toolkit and clinical audit is currently being edited for PHNs who use PenCS Clinical Audit Tool or POLAR.
The toolkit and the clinical audit can be accessed via login to the LMS.
