Stream 1 – National Quality Improvement Approach and Evidence Base Development

April Update

In the latest update from Stream 1, an environmental scan was conducted and discussed by the working group, paving the way for a comprehensive work plan. This plan has been organized into three key activities aimed at focusing the Stream’s efforts. The first activity centers on developing a framework, templates, and methodology, resulting in outputs such as templates, consolidated resources, and nationally relevant QI topics. The second activity focuses on data-driven insights, aiming to share examples of PIP-QI reports used across PHNs, as well as developing data cleansing and Data QI toolkits. Lastly, the Stream aims to establish uniform outcome measurement by creating a QI program logic, a menu of outcome measures (both valid and reliable) and exploring frameworks for economic evaluation. These activities are distributed among the group members, advancing collaboration and a clear action plan moving forward.

We are excited about the collective effort and progress ahead in advancing quality improvement within our network.
